Drunk and Drugged Driving

Broward accident watch understands that impaired driving is operating a vehicle, while under the influence of alcohol or drugs or a combination of both. In 2021 there were 830 fatalities statewide related to impaired driving, and 28 of these were in Broward. Impaired driving problems prompted the FLHSMV to launch a never drink impaired campaign to sensitize the motoring public to the dangers of driving under the influence of drugs and or alcohol. The goal is to reduce accidents, injuries, and deaths by bringing awareness about the dangers of driving while impaired.
